My Story

My career in high-performance sports management and strength and conditioning coaching has spanned English football, basketball, track and field, and specialized training for the Australian Federal Police.

As the 1st Team Strength and Conditioning Coach at West Ham United FC (2007-2009), I significantly improved player performance and rehabilitation processes. My expertise in rehabilitation was further demonstrated at Fulham Football Club in 2011, where I expedited the recovery of an injured player.

In my tenure with the Chinese Olympic Committee (2017-2018) as Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach for Track & Field (Throws), I played a crucial role in the success of female athletes who won medals at the World Championships and the Olympics. Additionally, in China, I served as Head of Strength and Conditioning at Zhejiang Guangsha Lions and Xinjiang Flying Tigers, and later as High Performance Manager at Illawarra Hawks Basketball Club, implementing comprehensive strength programs and innovative training technologies.

During my time with the Australian Federal Police (2010-2013), I specialized in preparing officers and developing training facilities and fitness evaluation standards.

In academia, as a Sessional Lecturer at Swinburne University of Technology and RMIT University, I lectured in Advanced Strength and Conditioning Techniques and Sports Science Technology, and contributed to six peer-reviewed research papers.

My career has been dedicated to innovation, athlete welfare, and performance optimization
